Count on our compassionate celebrants to organise a personalised service that allows loved ones to remember the departed and celebrate the life they lived on earth. Our experienced team will make sure the service matches your religious, cultural and financial circumstances.
An unattended cremation is a solemn and private option for families who don’t wish to hold a service prior to the cremation. It involves transferring your loved one’s remains and taking care of the necessary paperwork for the cremation to proceed, including death registration and the certificate for the medical cause of death.
While there are no requirements for bringing human ashes into Australia, note that the importation of human remains is regulated by the Biosecurity Act 2015. Some of the guidelines include ensuring the container holding the ashes should be free from an any contaminants. Proper documentation is also necessary, and we recommend having a copy of your loved one’s death or cremation certificate.

Death is inevitable. When it comes unexpectedly, it creates feelings of confusion, stress and despair. At some point, death will affect and touch all of us, which makes it important to understand.
When a loved one passes away, the first thing you should do is to contact their doctor and have them sign a death certificate. In cases where a doctor is unavailable to do so, a coroner will take the appropriate steps to allow the deceased into a funeral director’s care.
The next thing to do is get in touch with a reputable company such as Quality Cremation Services. We will take over the funeral arrangements to help the family get through this tough time.
Quality Cremation Services provides all of the forms necessary for the death registration and cremation process. We have made the forms available for download here for your convenience. Our caring team will be happy to guide you in accomplishing these forms.
